We are Daughters of Mary Help of Christians, popularly known as Salesian Sisters of Don Bosco, founded by Don Bosco in 1872 as a living monument of his gratitude to Mary, the Mother of God whom we honor as our mother, teacher, and guide… We belong to a vast movement known as Salesian Family.
General Mother Chiara Cazzuola
is the 10th Successor of Mary Domenica Mazzarello. Born in Campiglia Marittima – Livorno (Italy) in 1955.
GC XXII of 2008 elected her as Visiting Councilor and Sr. Chiara gave her availability by affirming: “In a spirit of abandonment to the will of God and trusting in the help of the Lord, I say yes”. She is a ‘clear’ person who is enthusiastic about the FMA vocation, has a great passion for young people in her heart, and expresses the capacity for open, serene, collaborative relationships.
Provincial Sr. Meenakshi D’Silva is the 8th Provincial of the Province of St. Mary Mazzarello Mumbai (INB). She has been part of the education sector for many years.
She has carried many responsibilities in the Province viz. Province administrator, animator, incharge of youth and councillor.
Her passion is ecology and education.
