The little Rome of the east, Goa, was privileged to be graced by the source of unity of the Salesian Family, our Rector Major, Don Angel Artime Fernandez. He was warmly welcomed at Auxilium Caranzalem, Goa, by the Sisters and the little ones. From the moment he came, we felt the radiations of Don Bosco himself walking into our portals, greeting each one like an affectionate father, with a kind word, a smile and a warm embrace.
After a short prayer, the Sisters welcomed him with a welcome song accompanied with a shawl and a bouquet of flowers.
He addressed the Sisters as his own with lots of love and warmth. He expressed his gratitude for the hospitality and warmth showered on him. 
In his words of encouragement, he focused on our mission for the young, the poor and the marginalized, the lack of which will result in the death of the Salesian Spirit.
He was open to the questions posed by the Sisters and with fatherly affection related with all.
His message of wisdom was followed by a high tea and then he entertained all of us with his skills at the guitar and songs in different languages.
