The portals of Laura Vicuna Niwas A’ Nagar were open to the vast throng of people from different
states to participate in the festive celebrations of our three sisters – Srs. Gaikwad Sajan, Parkhe Savita and Shah Sunita. The entire day was focused on them. The grand celebration began with a well animated morning prayer by the sisters of the community.
The Eucharistic celebration was presided over by Rev. Fr. Michael Fernandes and 13 invited Priests of the neighboring communities and Parishes. In the presence of our Provincial Sr. Rita Dora, Vice-Provincial Sr. Agatha Dias and Sr. Wilma De Souza, our sisters made their vows in perpetuity. The profession rite went on well. After the Mass, a short and meaningful felicitation programme was held under the guidance of Sr. Teresa Plathara, the Animator of the house. With a festal meal the celebration concluded.
