Auxilium Lonavla: The green schools campaign 2016-17 concluded on the 9th March 2017 with the Green Schools award ceremony held at Don Bosco, Matunga. The awards were preceded by a Greenline Mela which comprised of workshops for students and teachers. The workshops were based on Micro Greens, tree walk, green reporting, street play and film making. They also had a special, enriching workshop for teachers. The workshops were very informative. The chief guest for the function was Mr. Abid Surti who inspired the audience about conservation of water through his speech.
Later various tasks and activities related to this year’s topic JAL KA JHOL were highlighted through 
a presentation. The greenline team congratulated the top 5 schools for the year 2016-17
The green champ award was given to an industrious and hard working greenline member from each school. Ms. Nazrin Khan from our school was awarded as the Green Champ.
Fr. Savio Silviera and Fr. Edwin did the honours of announcing the winners.
We were delighted that we, Auxilium High School were declared the best school for creating an impact on the society. Our school won the Greenest School award and was awarded a trophy and a cheque of Rs. 1 lakh.
