Pushpanjali Dakor - Raksha Bandhan Celebration

On 16th August 2024 we had Raksha Bandhan Celebration. Raksha bandhan is a cultural festival celebrated during the Sawan month or the month of August. This is a holy occasion for commemorating the bond between brothers and sisters. On this day, sisters tie a thread or a rakhi on their brothers' wrists to symbolize their bond. In return, brothers promise that they shall be the protectors of their sisters for their entire life and give a return gift. They both give sweets to each other, and sisters pray for their brother's long life and protection. This festival symbolizes faith and eternal love between a brother and sister. We began with a prayer moment. After that Hetal Baria did Aarti of Superior Sr. Mariet Luckose, Boarding incharge Sr. Jean Colas and Teacher Urvashi Dodiya and tie them Rakhi on their wrist. After that boarders tie the Rakhi for each other and offered sweets to each other.
