The portals of Laura Vicuna Niwas A’ Nagar were open to the vast throng of people from different states to participate in the festive celebrations of our three sisters – Srs. It was a unique celebration, wherein paying heed to the exhortation of our Beloved Holy Father, we ventured out into the ‘peripheries’ reaching out to one of the most neglected groups of society – the transgenders. The community of Mazzarello Youth Centre organised a small celebration at Grace Harvest Orphanage with the collaboration of an NGO. We invited a group of transgenders and spent time listening and talking to them.

Sahayini Social Development Society organised a Women’s Festival from 8th-10th April, 2017 at Auxilium School Campus, Wadala. Around 500 women from the states of Gujarat, Maharashtra, Goa and Karnataka participated in it. The women came from the rural and tribal areas  where Sahayini carries out developmental works with women. The women were divided into groups with colourful bands. At 10.00 am, the children welcomed and escorted the Chief Guest Mrs.

The 26th of March was a Red letter day for all the children of Pansora, Ardi,  Zalabordi, Khristipura, Ghora and Ashipura as they celebrated Bal Mela in Jag Prakash Kanya Chatralaya, Pansora. There were around 400 children who came in with joy in their hearts and in colorful attire to enjoy their day. Baptism at ANMOL: The 24th of March was a great day in Anmol as three of our girls received the sacrament of Baptism and received the names – Merry, Victoria and Rachel. At 4.00 pm, these youngsters marched to the Parish of St. Francis De Sales to receive the sacrament. They were accompanied and supported by the sisters of the Anmol community, Sisters from Mazzarello Youth Centre and Auxilium Wadala, their God
